Ketubah configurator

We have researched various archives and gathered together the most beautiful elements that we found in modern and ancient ketubbot (plural of "ketubba") from the long history of the Jewish people. Here it is, our creation!

Ketubah (כְּתוּבָּה) means “written, document” in Hebrew, or literally “It is written”. The ketubah is probably the most important document of every Jewish family, because it not only attests to the valid marriage of a married couple, but also proves the Jewish lineage of the immediate ancestors and descendants of the new family.

That is why a ketubah is checked extremely carefully (usually by the community rabbi) and only released when every single letter is correct. The search for a beautiful and suitable ketubah can often be an adventure. Many Jewish couples can tell an amusing story about the origins of their own ketubah. For this reason, we have made a great effort to create a ketubah that is suitable for a wide variety of settings and can be generally accepted. So far, this has worked well.

We look forward to designing the next ketubah for a couple in love! We are sure that this ketubah will make the chupa even more enchanting!
