Blessing for waking up in the morning incl. Netillat Yadayim, Hebrew with transliteration & translation, A5 format

  • The Bracha (blessing)

    ...מוֹדֶה אֲנִי לְפָנֶֽיךָ מֶֽלֶךְ חַי וְקַיָּם

I thank you, King, Living and Eternal One...

  • Background & Information

The Mode Ani comes from Ejcha 3:22-23 (Lamentations of the Prophets Irmijahu). It is prayed as soon as one wakes up - while still in bed. The first conscious act in the morning is to thank the Creator for a new day, which brings the opportunity to get up and serve the King of kings with all your heart and strength. This is worth getting up for!

Simply place the bracha in a place where you can see or grab the card as soon as you wake up. You can choose how you read the bracha: in German, in Hebrew with transliteration or directly from the Hebrew text, like a pro!

The bracha is made of extremely sturdy and durable cardboard. Perfect for laying down, standing up, hanging up or framing.

  • The Maamin Brachot series

Our Brachot series is specially designed to make the learning of the essential brachot easy. The cards are made of durable material and help you to get to know, read and internalize the brachot (Heb. plural for blessings)..
